EIP on AHA | Reference Site Collaborative Network

The Reference Site Collaborate Network (RSCN) brings together all European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing Reference Sites, and Candidate Reference Sites, across Europe into a single forum to promote cooperation; and develop and promote areas of innovative good practice and solutions, which contribute to improved health and care outcomes for citizens across Europe, and the development of sustainable economic growth and the creation of jobs.

RSCN facilitates Reference Sites to:

  • Share experiences in developing Health and Care strategies and policies, and service delivery models with a view to developing agreed evidence based best practice approaches across Reference Sites and regions.
  • Learn from each other by promoting “Twinning” events and sharing of information on best practice.
  • Identify opportunities where the development of innovative approaches and solutions can contribute to improved health and care outcomes for citizens and sustainable economic growth.
  • develop existing and new collaborations with others in the Reference Site Collaborative Network where there were shared objectives and common areas of interest in order to identify suitable projects where solution development was required
  • Develop partnerships for joint projects, funded through Reference Sites internal arrangements and through European funds. Including Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) and Public Procurement of Innovative solutions (PPI) initiatives.
  • Work with Regions looking to develop new Reference Sites through sharing with them the knowledge and expertise of existing Reference Sites.
  • Communicate a Reference Site perspective on health and care issues and provide assistance to the European Commission in the process of developing new policies, programs and initiatives within the EIP – AHA objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other forums in Europe where there are mutual benefits to the respective organisations
